Alongside KAKANDA’s festival trail, the company and its leadership have been recognised for the wider practice.

Those honours include Africa’s Most Reliable Media and Communication Company of the Year 2023, the African Indigenous Language Film Festival Award, Northern Entertainment Week, and Night of the Knights.
