The story
KAKANDA is Sarari Klassique’s flagship short: a women’s-issue story made in the Kannywood tradition for audiences well beyond it.
The film was named Best Women’s Issue Short at the Dubai Independent Film Festival and confirmed as an Award Winner at the Tokyo Women’s Film Festival. It triumphed at the 8th Kaduna International Film Festival, received Best Nollywood Film at TINFF, and was honoured at the Brampton International Nollywood Film Festival. A separate announcement recorded four further awards in the same run.
